About Leanndra

Leanndra Pack, therapist for women struggling with anxiety, people pleasing, and setting b

I'm Leanndra. I'm a California native, moved to Missouri and then Arkansas, and moved back to the Bay Area in 2025. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in social work. I began my career wanting to work with children because I believe getting support early on can create lasting change. However, I realized the part of therapy I enjoy most is helping people understand their patterns, relationships, and why they do what they do, which led me to older teens and adults.

How I show up in the therapy room is how I am in my daily life. I am genuine, challenging and like to have some laughs. We can't be friends in real life, but that doesn't mean we have to sit there being in a therapist/client situation like in movies and tv.

My most used phrases in the therapy space are "whose voice is that?" "what is the story you're telling yourself?" and "what if it does/is?" I also like to be "curious" and "wonder."

As someone who has been in therapy myself, I know that it can be really hard to get to know someone new and have to tell your story (again or for the first time.) I make sure to build rapport so that you feel safe enough to process whatever needs to be processed without your nervous system telling you that you're being chased by a bear.

In my free time, I enjoy watching true crime documentaries, seeing anything live (concerts, musicals, plays,) traveling, and spending time outdoors.
